We have an opportunity for a self-motivated, organised, results oriented IT professional to join our team.
This position will be responsible for the development and support of IT business systems
to meet operational requirements. The role will focus on the development of MES applications and processes to integrate with the SAP ERP system, external cloud systems, EDI processes and internal custom developments
Key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering and co-ordinating IT developments
- Assisting with daily business support activities for Prysmian UK sites as required
- Ensuring effective communication with the users
- Escalation of incidents to HQ as required using Servicenow ticketing system
- Providing training and support to the users
- Promoting best practice in the use of IT systems
- Guiding and assisting the business to utilise IT systems to deliver effective process improvements
In addition, you will have good commercial awareness, excellent analytical skills together with a logical approach to problem solving.
Working under pressure you will need excellent organisational ability, communication and interpersonal skills together with a ‘team player’ approach.

This role is based in our offices near the Eastleigh town centre. The address is Prysmian Cables & Systems Limited, Chickenhall Lane, Eastleigh, SO50 6YU. There are good transport links to Eastleigh and the site is approximately 15 minutes walk from the railway station. We are able to offer free car parking next to our offices.
