Our Maintenance Business, called Energy Network Solutions (ENS) undertakes a diverse range of activities to support our customers and to keep the power on. An integral part of our ENS business is our dedicated Civils Team, who work throughout the UK on activities related to faults, maintenance and new installations of High Voltage Cables and Accessories.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Commercial team. The successful candidate will play a significant role in achieving the Company’s sales and profit targets through the compilation of Tenders for High Voltage Systems Business in the UK.

Specific duties will include the following:

  • Managing the complete Tender process from Enquiry to Tender Submission
  • Acting as single point contact for all internal and external communication
  • Determining bid tactics and pricing of offers
  • Collating technical, operational and commercial information and preparation of Tender Submission.
  • Evaluating options to provide optimised project solutions
  • Undertaking post tender discussions and contract negotiation
  • Tracking major projects in the UK marketplace and developing new business opportunities

Education / Qualifications

Whilst a degree is not necessary for this role you will be required to compose and write documents as well as be confident working with numerical data.


Previous commercial experience in sales whether external sales or within a commercial support role is required for this role. If you have knowledge of SAP that would be an advantage. You will need to be confident with Microsoft Office software.
